Who We Are:
Mommies In Need is a non-profit organization that supports parents battling a health crisis by providing safe, loving childcare from specially-trained nannies and teachers so that parents can get the medical care they need to heal. Our mission is to provide support to families which allows parents to focus on their own health. Our vision is that no parent has to choose between taking care of themselves and having safe, loving care for their children.
Who We Are Looking for:
Every role at Mommies in Need is crucial to achieving our goal of helping families in times of a health crisis. Upon adding a new employee to our team, we are given the chance to not only better the lives of our families, but also the lives of our employees! We hire with purpose; to enhance the lives of everyone involved with our organization and strive to better our community by improving the lives of our clients and employees alike.
Mommies In Need currently offers three lines of service; our In-Home program (currently on freeze due to covid-19), Virtual Community, and Annie’s Place. We are always seeking qualified candidates for our program and administrative teams. Our ideal candidates are passionate about helping children and families in need and possess relevant work experience and education.
During the current pandemic, we will follow all guidelines (CDC, State, City, etc.) as a response to covid-19. We consider this absolutely vital for the health of all involved.
Diversity and Inclusion Statement:
At Mommies In Need, we are committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive culture that encourages, supports and celebrates diversity, both in our employees and the families we serve.
As an employer, we know different backgrounds and perspectives create a stronger, more creative, more loving environment. We want all of our employees to feel valued, appreciated and free to be who they are at work. We are proud to provide equal opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
As an organization that serves and celebrates families of all types, we believe no parent - regardless of race, gender, age, religion, sexual orientation or disability - should have to choose between taking care of their own health and having safe and loving care for their children.
We look forward to speaking with you!
