Mommies In Need (MIN) provides childcare, community, and compassion to parents going through a health crisis. We believe that parents should never have to choose between taking care of their own health and having safe and loving care for their children. Every role at Mommies in Need is crucial to achieve our goal of helping families in times of a health crisis. Upon adding a new employee to our team, we are given the chance to not only better the lives of our families, but also the lives of our employees! We hire with purpose; to enhance the lives of everyone involved with our organization and strive to better our community by improving the lives of our clients and employees alike.
For our In-Home Program, MIN sends specially trained, background-checked, CPR-certified nannies into the homes of our families to care for the children and create a community of support around the families. To date we have provided over 60 families with over 23,000 hours of free childcare.
We are so excited to announce that we are rolling out our new line of service at our drop-in center, Annie's Place (currently under construction) which is slated to open in the Fall of 2020. Annie's Place is named after the very first MIN Mommy, and will be a place for parents receiving treatments to drop their children off in a safe, caring environment. It will be on the Parkland campus and will have the capacity to care for 60-75 children a day. At Annie's Place we are seeking experienced childcare workers who are familiar with the childcare environment.
