In addition to: One evening each week and every other Saturday.

Job Duties, Responsibilities, Qualifications, and Requirements

Job Summary

The role of Registered Nurse Injector is best suited for highly motivated, results-driven individuals that possess a passion for medical aesthetics. The Nurse Injector’s responsibilities surround injectable procedures. Candidates must have substantial medical aesthetics experience including all, or some, of the following modalities: Neurotoxins, Fillers, CoolSculpting, Sciton Joule with Halo technology, Morpheus8/Forma Radio Frequency, Laser Hair Removal, Emsculpt, and standard aesthetics services like facials and other non- or minimally invasive services. 

Responsibilities and Duties 

1.      Evaluates patient/client needs to recommend appropriate skin care products and services during the consultation

2.      Performs in-depth interview sessions with patient/clients, reviewing the risks and benefits, obtaining signed consents for procedures, including medical history and skin consultation and evaluation

3.      Performs laser hair removal, laser pigmentation, laser non-ablative skin rejuvenation, laser ablative skin rejuvenation, and other non-invasive cosmetic skin care treatments according to accepted standards of practice and completing the med spa competency with the Senior Laser Technician

4.      Performs neurotoxin and filler injections according to accepted standards of practice and completing the med spa competency with the Clinical Manager

5.      Maintains accurate documentation of treatment in all patient/client medical records

6.      Assists the Medical Director as needed

7.      Manages payment transactions, including, credit card and gift certificates

8.      Assists with maintaining an appropriate inventory, notifies management when the inventory is low or needs to be ordered

9.      Provides information and education for inquiries about all med spa products and services offered

10.   Maintains a professional neat appearance individually and adheres to approved dress code by the General Manager

11.   Ensures that all work/treatment areas are clean and neat

12.   Attends continuing education as requested by management

13.   Maintains patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy

14.   Maintains a high level of integrity with a strong ethical foundation

15.   Successfully completed med spa competencies related to each applicable service

16.   Maintains current license(s) in good standing and provides updated copies when renewed to management

Job Qualifications

1.      High School Diploma or GED equivalency is required

2.      Registered Nurse License issued by the State of Texas is required

3.      3+ years of experience in Aesthetic Medicine/Plastic Surgery/Dermatology

4.      Must maintain Continuing Medical Education and remain up to date with all Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

5.      Strong knowledge of current techniques, advancements, and trends in the field of Medical Aesthetics

6.      Flexible scheduled, including nights/weekends, on call schedule 

7. Proficiency in Zenoti and Patient Now 

Required Skills:

1.      Strong procedural, technical, and anatomical competency of medical aesthetic treatments

2.      Strong consultation and sales experience

3.      Must possess strong leadership and mentoring skills

4.      Possess a professional, personable, caring, and motivating personality that builds strong client-provider relationships.

5.      Excellent verbal and written communication skills, highly organized, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

6.      Ability to excel in an environment that sets goals, tracks progress, and strives for growth

7.      Ability to offer additional treatment services and memberships that compliment and benefit the guests needs to enhance their desired results.

8.      Must possess basic phlebotomy skills to assist in blood draws.

9.      Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Work Environment

This position requires work in a fast-paced medical office environment. This position routinely uses standard office equipment. Exposure to chemicals, disinfectants and latex.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; talk or     hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. Must be able to reach   above shoulder height, crawl, kneel and push/pull up 20lbs
