Dispatch Engineer/Field Engineer

CHIPS is on the lookout for an individual with between 1-3 years of IT related experience. Job Description

·         Travel to client sites to assist with service issues

·         Installation of workstations and peripherals

·         Assist user community in software, hardware, and network problem resolution.

·         Install and test a variety of personal computing and network hardware and software systems, with local area network and wide area network connections.

·         Logs tickets and takes appropriate action to ensure a satisfactory response with acceptable time frames for the user community.

·         Keeps up to date with current trends and is prepared to make recommendations to the improvement of both workstation and user environments.

·         Produces support documentation.

Skills Needed

·         Two to Four years of technology experience

·         Basic networking familiarity

·         A+ Certified (preferred)

·         Network + Certified (preferred)

·         Must be detail oriented and well-organized individual

·         Some experience in the following:

-          Windows 7, 8, 10

-          Microsoft Server 2008, 2012

-          Microsoft Exchange 2010, 2013, 2016

-          Backup programs

-          Networking/Switching hardware
