Senior Business Development Representative:

Your Impact
● Market the company’s products and services via telephone and email, often cold-calling leads to gauge interest and create opportunities
● Become well-versed in our value proposition, technology and corporate messaging
● Generate prospective customers through cold-calling and lead qualification from marketing programs and sourcing target accounts
● Leverage calls, emails, social channels to engage ideal audiences and set appointments for both Sales Representatives and Solution Architects, and prospective clients
● Direct marketing qualified leads (MQL) to appropriate Sales Representatives with high efficiency and prioritization
● Follow up on pre-qualified leads with the Sales Team to ensure they are processed quickly and lead to pipeline creation (SQL)
● Document all activities and customer interactions in Salesforce.com
● Identify client needs, provide guidance and information around our products and services with the goal of increasing customer satisfaction
● Build long-term relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
● Stay up-to-date with with market trends and emerging industry products and services
● Be a high-energy individual with a strong desire to achieve top results with a dependable, positive “no excuses” attitude over the phone
● Consistently meet or exceed sales metrics set by sales leaders and managers
Your Experience
● Previous work experience handling inbound and outbound sales and inquiries
● Ability to understand technical concepts, possess enthusiasm for technology and to articulate clearly to all levels of technical aptitude
● Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
● Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Field Sales Representative, Sales Leader, or similar role
● Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
● Track record of consistently achieving sales quota
● Experience with sales technologies (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach.io, DiscoverOrg)
● Flawless communication and negotiation skills
● Ability to deliver engaging presentations
● Entrepreneurial self-starter mentality with excellent time management and strong work ethic
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field
Preferred Qualifications:
● 3+ years of inside sales experience
● Background in big data, data management, data science and data analytics market
● Prior work experience in tech start-ups
