Job Description
TapRm is hiring for a Full Time Sales Representative to join our B2B Distribution team. The ideal candidate is an outgoing, self-motivated, positive individual with excellent communication skills and an enthusiasm for the beer industry. This role will be responsible for covering a specific sales territory within the New York Metro Market (on & off premise) and will report to the TapRm B2B Management Team. Specific duties include setting up sales appointments with new and existing clientele, confidently presenting a diverse portfolio, and driving sales. Our B2B team is always growing, and we are actively searching for those who are determined to take on more responsibilities and leadership opportunities as they become relevant. Pay commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive sales to both on and off premise accounts
Research, identify, and engage potential/new clientele
Visit accounts, collect reorders, coordinate displays and report back on product movement
Increase distribution, customer interaction and overall brand awareness
Build and manage relationships with key accounts
Plan and manage time efficiently
Utilize and develop sales tools to document wins/losses/growth opportunities
Qualifications:
Strong administrative/organizational skills and time-management
Effective interpersonal skills - Ability to communicate clearly and identify the needs of others
Ability to build relationships, gather feedback, proactively problem-solve and identify opportunities/recognize client’s needs
Persistence to follow through on leads
Team player - Understands the bigger picture of the B2B Team’s goals
Comprehensive knowledge of the industry and awareness of current and emerging trends
Familiarity with both on and off premise sales channels
Proficient in Google Suite
Requirements:
1-3 years of sales experience (beer industry experience strongly preferred)
Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience)
Ability to utilize public transportation
