Solais Lighting is looking for a Marketing Strategist to help grow and strengthen our digital marketing efforts. This role will support social media, email campaigns, website content, SEO, analytics, and campaign planning for a growing architectural lighting manufacturer.

 

You’ll work directly with the VP of Marketing and collaborate with sales, operations, engineering, and leadership to turn technical product information into clear, useful, engaging marketing.

We’re looking for someone who can think strategically, write well, measure performance, and help build repeatable marketing processes.

 

You do not need to know architectural lighting on day one. We can teach lighting. We are more interested in how you think, how you learn, and how you approach B2B marketing.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and help grow Solais’ digital presence across LinkedIn, email, and web.
  • Plan and support marketing campaigns for product launches, company news, customer stories, and industry topics.
  • Write and edit LinkedIn posts, email campaigns, website copy, blog-style content, case studies, and landing page content.
  • Build and optimize monthly email campaigns.
  • Support SEO through keyword research, content updates, metadata, and website improvements.
  • Track performance across website, email, and social media.
  • Recommend A/B tests and campaign improvements based on results.
  • Help organize marketing assets, workflows, and reporting.
  • Create and document repeatable processes that make the marketing department more efficient and scalable.
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, engineering, and leadership on marketing initiatives.
  • Assist with other marketing, showroom, tradeshow, office, and customer-facing needs as they come up. We are a small team, so flexibility and a willingness to pitch in matter.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5 years of marketing experience.
  • Bachelors in marketing, communications, or related field preferred
  • Strong storytelling, writing, and communication skills.
  • Experience with B2B marketing, preferably in manufacturing, architectural products, building products, commercial interiors, technology, industrial products, or another technical industry.
  • Experience with social media, email marketing, website content, SEO, and campaign reporting.
  • Comfort reviewing data and turning it into useful recommendations.
  • Curiosity, organization, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to manage and own multiple projects and tasks without losing attention to detail.
  • Interest in building something, not just maintaining what already exists.

 

Experience + Expertise

  • LinkedIn company page management
  • Email marketing platforms
  • HubSpot or similar CRM/marketing automation tools
  • Google Analytics / GA4
  • WordPress or another CMS
  • SEO tools or keyword research
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Paid digital campaigns or LinkedIn Ads
  • Campaign reporting or KPI dashboards

 

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success means helping Solais become more consistent, more measurable, and more intentional with digital marketing.

After your first year, you will have helped:

  • Build a stronger digital marketing rhythm across email, social, and web.
  • Improve campaign planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Grow engagement with architects, designers, reps, and industry partners.
  • Create useful marketing processes and documentation.
  • Bring new ideas, insights, and recommendations to the team.

 

Occasional Needs

  • Potential travel opportunities to tradeshows and conferences for setup and lead generation.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. and stand for long periods of time during tradeshows and conferences.
