The Head of Supply Growth will ensure that we grow our supply base and offer a high quality owner experience to meet and drive demand. This cross-functional role will oversee the full lifecycle of supply at Outdoorsy and will directly manage some of our unique supply functions while collaborating with other teams. This role will oversee an integrated approach to acquiring, onboarding, and retaining owners, while ensuring that they offer high quality experiences to renters.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead supply growth to insure the business can scale to meet consumer demand

  • Synthesize and prioritize the needs of our owners and the internal teams that work with owners. Own the narrative and data behind what problems should be solved, for whom, how, and why it matters

  • Manage our standards for onboarding and training owners and manage owner success and support

  • Drive our processes to monitor supply quality, and to coach, remediate, and remove owners as necessary

  • Partner with our data team to identify, understand,activate, grow and retain owners in key markets

  • Help evolve the playbook for market expansion and execute against it

  • Develop and iterate on the Outdoorsy value proposition for owners in collaboration with stakeholders

  • Build consensus and work collaboratively with engineering, design, marketing, and other key stakeholders

  • Define success metrics and analyze performance, balancing quantitative and qualitative insights to drive decisions, experiment, and iterate quickly

 

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years success driving marketplace growth and retention in a competitive landscape

  • Experience in supply-side management in online, dual-sided marketplaces (ideally vehicle marketplaces)

  • 5-10 years of experience in digital marketing, including web optimization, SEO, SEM


PREFERRED:

  • Experience operating in a global role on a global marketplace.

  • Experience working in an enterprise technology setting, bringing expertise in SaaS and a nuanced understanding of the cloud market and competitive dynamics/customer adoption behavior.

  • Ability to develop marketing strategies and business plans, and analyze customer/market insights and market spend effectiveness.

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, partnering with Product Management, Engineering and Sales teams.
