We’re looking for a Product Marketing Director that’s excited about leading the next greatest innovation in RV travel to join our team of outdoor enthusiasts. The ideal candidate has turned complex and complicated product offerings into easy-to-digest customer solutions. You have an innate ability to work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, operate flawlessly under ambiguity (and tight deadlines), and you can translate back of house terminology into customer-facing poetry. You know what it’s like to be at the forefront of groundbreaking technology and have a proven track record of executing cross-channel marketing initiatives and go-to-market programs. In this role, you will help define our newest product offering and catapult Outdoorsy into the next generation of great consumer brands. 


What you’ll do:

  • Develop the go-to-market plan for our newest product offering including, but not limited to: customer positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, lead generation, retention, and loyalty 

  • Translate the capabilities of our technology solutions into sales messaging and positioning that’s clear, concise, and actionable

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop channel marketing plans that drive cost efficiencies and create network effects

  • Develop partner marketing programs that create win-win opportunities for our customers and partners

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to develop new customer-focused offerings, reduce friction in the flow and  lifecycle, and find ways to delight our customers 

  • Work closely with the performance and analytics team to develop weekly targets, create dashboards, and provide channel-level reporting


What you have: 

  • A minimum of 6 years’ experience in product marketing (marketplace platforms preferred) with at least 1-2 years of experience in the insurance industry 

  • Strong communication and project management skills to work closely with marketing, product management, engineering, industry experts, sales, and customer experience to ensure timely execution on all programs

  • A passion for solving things with technology; you find it easy to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • A proven track record of building and executing successful GTM programs

  • A testing mindset that finds joy in learning, iterating, and improving
