JOB SUMMARY:

As a Business Consultant, you will analyze, document and propose solutions for mid to complex digital banking systems by performing business process analysis using a variety of accepted tools and methodologies. You'll write functional specifications and use cases to assist in the preparation and documentation of development and testing to ensure our solution meets the defined requirements. Also, you will work alongside the development team providing them with iterative analysis and detailed requirement specifications. Providing a link between S&O, Product, and the development team.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for translating high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications and managing requests for changes to those specifications
  • Translate functional specification into technical solution with Application flow, Wireframes, Screenshots and Use Cases
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as but not limited to PM’s, Product. S&O, Development, and Design
  • Review of requirements to key stakeholders for approval
  •  Support development of Proof of Concepts
  • Contribute in user acceptance testing
  •  Review test scenarios from functional coverage perspective and provide feedback to testing team
  •  Application review from functional and UI perspectives and provide feedback to the Development Team.
  • Train other Teams on new features as required
  • Document system modules and features for training and user manuals
  • Peer review of artifacts
  • Support S&O roadmap and engagements with subject matter expertise as required
  • Provide guidance to other Business Analysts as needed

 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·        High School Diploma or GED

·        Experience in any relevant domains like Banking and Digital Software Services

·        Candidates should have a comprehensive BA experience, good organizational skills, and be able to work well within a fast-paced environment

·        Requirements Elicitation, Analysis and Documentation. Should be able to extract and document explicit, implicit, and non-functional requirements

·        Knowledge of workflow and prototyping tools and/or practices

·        Analytical skills with a consultative mindset & collaborative, can-do attitude.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to gather requirements while collaborating with different personnel and departments within the organization

·        Ability to write and speak error free grammatically correct English

·        Advanced business case development and presentation skills

·        Advanced technology solution assessment and validation

·        Well versed in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, & Confluence

·        Ability to take ownership of business requirements and assist to develop solutions

·        Prior experience in digital/mobile application development a big plus

·        Prior experience in banking or financial software implementation 

·        Demonstrates ability to execute work independently with general oversight.

·        Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and demonstrates ability to multi-task projects and daily job duties.

·        Demonstrates ability to address complex job related/technical issues and problems and seek vendor assistance when necessary.

·        Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.

·        Demonstrates strong team collaboration/teamwork skills, with ability to work in cross functional teams and build/maintain positive working relationships.

·        Demonstrates ability to interact efficiently with Technology and utilize common office applications including Jira and Confluence

·        Ability to lead process improvements, efficiencies and team members through changing environments
