JOB SUMMARY:

NinjaHoldings is seeking a highly motivated professional with a long track record of success to lead our Credit Card division. This VP of Operations, Credit Card will play a pivotal role in the future of our company. The VP of Operations, Credit Card will be responsible for the vision and development of our credit card product while bringing the customer into the Ninja ecosystem. You’ll be managing the Strategy & Operations team, collaborating with the engineers and developers, marketing and support teams such as finance and legal, as well as providing the overall vision for the product roadmap. Additional accountabilities include the development of the marketing strategy for cards acquisition, acquisition offers and campaigns that drive acquisition, activation & awareness and requires advanced US industry understanding of product & marketing including digital acquisition.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

●        Define and drive product vision and strategy

●        Execute consistently, rapidly, and effectively to deliver on the product vision

●        Drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action

●        Own the product roadmap

●        Gather data and make decisions based on trends and analytics

●        Develop, implement and manage a strategy, framework, and system for driving acquisition in order to build and grow a new credit card portfolio

●        Own, establish and deliver against monthly acquisition targets across all channels of acquisition

●        Own and deliver a credit origination strategy that delivers against all key acquisition metrics such as: Approval Rates, Activation Rates, First-Use Rates, Cost Per New Account and Balances

●        Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer/consumer impact

●        Drive product analytics to understand feature usage, comprehension, and optimization

●        Build relationships with internal stakeholders to continually improve the product

●        Develop and maintain a yearly business plan that includes programs for improving the profitability of the company

●        Remain up to date with market conditions, changes in products, changes in price levels, terms, discounts, allowances and promotions. Adapt strategy to changing conditions

●        Lead thinking on developing an edge over competition. Monitor competitive activity and ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated and implemented

●        Support the marketing activity of the company, provide ideas, present concepts, be creative, and provide information and a support structure for agreed upon plans

     

REQUIREMENTS:

●        Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience

●        10 years of experience in management consulting, strategy development and execution, as well as change management

●        Proven work experience preferably in the financial services sector (FinTech) and deep expertise with consumer credit specific to credit cards

●        Customer-centric mindset with the capability of translating that into the product development process

●        Successfully implemented data-driven processes to turn a vision into an actionable roadmap

●        Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

●        Analytical mind & results driven approach to quality and productivity

●        Well versed in modern tools and methodologies of process improvement and project management abilities; experience in leading multiple large projects simultaneously

●        Excellent written and verbal communication skills
