CreditNinja is seeking a Project Manager to join our Risk & Analytics team which is comprosed of data scientists, data engineers and analysts. The Project Manager will have the opportunity to apply advanced project management knowledge, skills and tools to prioritize and drive projects that impact company-wide strategic initiatives. The Project Manager will scale our data science and data analytics impact through the delivery of quality, timely work.

 

What You Will Work On

  • Manage the delivery of complex projects that require involvement of cross-functional teams
  • Communicate regularly with individuals both within and outside of our team, managing relationships and expectations
  • Document and organize requirements, success criteria, milestones and deliverables for projects
  • Manage timeline and scope throughout the course of all assigned projects
  • Lead project teams during all phases of the development life cycle including requirements gathering, design, analysis, implementation and continuous monitoring
  • Coordinate with cross-functional groups to design innovative solutions and product features (Product, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Engineering, etc.)
  • Effectively communicate project updates to all stakeholders in an approachable and easy to understand manner
  • Evaluate results of delivered projects using company-wide KPIs

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferably in an analytical field such as Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science
  • 3+ years of work experience managing and driving the execution of complex projects
  • Experience in/working in partnership with a technical role, such as an engineer, developer, data scientist, etc. a plus
  • Proficient with project management tools and techniques, such as JIRA, Confluence
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, conflict management, coordination, and planning skills with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to assess a project's scope and the team's ability to execute
  • Experience working with relational databases, such as SQL
  • Outcome oriented with the ability to drill down from the big picture to process details
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Solid grasp of software technologies and stacks
  • Comfortable in a flexible and sometimes ambiguous environment
  • Experience working with specialty finance or FinTech is a plus
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
