The PC Build Specialist will be responsible for the hardware and software configuration of new and existing computers to the specifications of the clients requests. 

Responsibilities:

·       Configure new desktops and laptops per customer’s specifications

·       Update ticket and client on progress of machine

·       Deliver computer to client site if requested and approved and get delivery ticket signed

·       Work closely with Sales, Purchasing, Onsite Engineers and Remote Operations departments on the due date of computer(s) and any special requests

·       Rebuild/Repairs of desktop or laptop machines including reimaging and virus removal

·       Work with Purchasing and Sales for any Return of Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for faulty parts

·      On site interaction with clients

·       Vendor interaction

·       Other duties as assigned by the Support Desk Manager

Qualifications and Requirements:

·       Reliable, prompt and willing to exceed customer expectations

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills with professional demeanor

·       Preparation of documentation

·       Ability to work independently and in a team environment

·       Ability to understand urgency of customers’ requests

·       Customer service and problem resolution skills

·       Must be detailed oriented

·       Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and adapt to change quickly in a fast paced environment

·       Must be able to work on-call, after-hours, over-time, Holidays and travel outside of Colorado periodically, as requested

·       Participation in industry events, as appropriate

·       Must have a valid driver's license, reliable motor vehicle with valid proof of insurance

·       Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

Working Environment:                                                                                         

·       In the office 70% of the time

·       Out of the office 10% of the time delivering equipment

·       Work directly with customers on PC Rebuilds

·       Work directly with Sales and Purchasing on New PC Builds
