Deputy Field Organizer Job Opening - El Paso

The Texas Freedom Network is a statewide non-partisan, grassroots organization that is building an informed and effective movement working toward equality and social justice.
This is a part-time, temporary position that will begin on August 1 and end on October 31, 2021. This position will require 15 - 20 hrs a week on average at $17/hr.
The Deputy Field Organizer (DFO) will work in El Paso on our youth engagement program, Texas Rising. This is a grant funded position, and will be focused on assisting in the execution of a campaign to encourage members of the El Paso community to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.
Qualifications and Skills
Deputy Field Organizers should be high energy, outgoing, enthusiastic, and willing to spend many active hours outdoors interacting with the community. Deputy Field Organizers report to the Regional Field Coordinator and the Advocacy Field Organizer in their region.
Candidate must have a desire to learn and a willingness to receive feedback
Candidates must have the ability to communicate with diverse communities and leaders
Candidates must be willing to get deputized to register voters, ideal candidate is already deputized
Candidates should have strong interpersonal skills, experience meeting deadlines, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
Pay & Benefits
