MoreCommerce is looking for a Software Developer with PHP and Java experience to join their Bucharest, Romania team. As a Developer you will be responsible for the development and support of our core ecommerce applications and services. You’ll have access to a lot of technologies and you’ll be able to make important technical decisions, collaborate with other engineers, and ensure the scalability and performance of the application. You can switch from one programming language to another and you can develop your knowledge in many directions. What You Will Do
Work with the Development team to implement web-based applications and software services for the Vendio and MoreCommerce sites
Collaborate with Product Management and our Design team to define user-driven features and services
Design and code applications from conception to launch
Contribute to application and site architecture
Verify and actively drive application quality and performance
Support Customer Service and QA teams by quickly providing solutions for bugs
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and trends on the web

Who You Are
You have great programming skills: experience with Java J2EE applications, PHP, perl
Good with data structures and algorithms with strong software development skills
Willingness to work with different programming languages
Well organized with clear, effective communication skills
You have experience in web development and have knowledge of both Spring and Hibernate
Working experience with MySQL with MongoDB experience a plus
A self-starter able to handle the prioritization of multiple projects and tasks under time-bound deadlines
Strong communication skills. We’re moving fast and you’re expected to be able to reliably keep all internal and external parties up to date
Collaborative in nature, with a willingness to learn and coach
Sharp, motivated, driven, yet humble
BSc in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or equivalent experience and certifications
