PHASE Scientific Americas launched INDICAID® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test for the POC healthcare markets in the U.S. in early 2021, and has recently (March 2022) received FDA EUA approval of its new INDICAID® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen At-Home Test (OTC). PHASE Scientific Americas is also expanding its portfolio of products and solutions for infectious disease applications, as well as developing new and innovative technologies for cancer diagnosis. Overview:
The Marketing Coordinator (MC) reports to the PHASE Scientific Americas current Marketing Manager and is responsible for supporting PHASE Scientific Americas’ social media promotion and digital marketing tactics, as well as other Marketing projects and initiatives as assigned by Marketing Managers, based on strategic direction developed by Marketing Managers and CRO.
The Marketing Coordinator (MC) will collaborate with and support the Marketing Managers to develop and implement Editorial Calendars for both Social Media and Email Marketing, as well as plans related to Inbound Demand Generation, and Digital Marketing tactics. They will be involved with implementing social media posts on a weekly basis on multiple platforms; examples of social media platforms involved are LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube. Email campaigns will involve use of ZOHO Campaigns and SalesCatalyst.
The Marketing Coordinator (MC) will work with the Marketing Teams on the Inbound Demand Generation (e.g. web forms) and related components of the website. They may work with LinkedIn Advertising, Google Ad Words, Digital Advertising (on various platforms), and other digital marketing techniques that support PHASE Scientific Americas’ SEO and Inbound Demand Generation goals. They will work as part of the Marketing Managers’ teams to implement other special Marketing projects and initiatives that may be conducted from time-to-time.
Finally, they will be involved with marketing plans and participate in product launch efforts for new, consumer-focused products such as At-Home Self Collection Tests (e.g. combo COVID-19/Flu tests for respiratory illnesses; STI self-collection tests; and related consumer products that utilize PHASE Scientific Americas’ new CLIA lab services). These efforts will involve Direct to Consumer (D2C), Business to Consumer (B2C) and Business to Business (B2B) e-commerce, marketing, and promotion focus.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with PHASE Scientific Americas Marketing Managers (D2C and B2B) and the Marketing Team to promote a strategic marketing plan via tactical level plans for Social Media and Digital Marketing.
• Support the Marketing Managers, and Marketing Team, with:
o Creating lifestyle and educational blogs (D2C) and sales collateral (B2B)
o Preparing weekly/monthly content updates for the Sales team (i.e. intro and follow-up letters, including new/ongoing trends within PHASE Scientific Americas’ marketplace)
o Conducting market research (including competitor analysis)
o Editing/creating internal/external report and presentation materials, campaigns, initiatives, and related project deliverables in a flexible and agile manner, making any needed adjustments to achieve the targeted results needed.
o Specific project plans, delivery schedules, project management and tracking systems, and back-end results summaries for the planned social media initiatives, targeted e-mail campaigns, and other digital marketing initiatives.
o Creating high content assets and communications elements related to the Social Media and Digital Marketing efforts, in a timely and cost-effective manner, to achieve improved engagement with, interest in, and preference for PHASE Scientific USA products and solutions.
o Planning, coordination, and execution of tradeshows/events.
o Execution of other special Marketing projects and initiatives assigned to the Marketing Team by CRO from time-to-time.
• Organize and coordinate meetings with multiple departments within Microsoft Outlook
• Organize and assist in managing marketing projects (utilizing Airtable)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related focus, with relevant experience in marketing communications, copywriting, and/or digital marketing.
• 1-3 years’ experience in marketing of B2B products and/or technology solutions, with demonstrated skills and experience in Social Media & Digital Marketing (including E-Mail Marketing), and Inbound Demand Generation
• Excellent copywriting and PowerPoint skills a must • Past experience working in email marketing platforms a plus
• Canva experience a plus
• Experience with the use of short form content assets (such as short videos, infographics, short PowerPoint decks, testimonials & use cases, etc) a plus
• Strong knowledge and experience with key social media and e-mail marketing platforms
• Solid knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, plus capability of learning new software applications as needed
• Excellent time/project management, problem solving, and organizational skills required, plus proven ability to manage multiple priorities and projects all at once
• Go-getter attitude and strong ability to work with teams with different functions and/or from different regions.
• Utilize a ‘marketing mindset’ (as opposed to an ‘IT mindset’) when assisting with Social Media and Digital Marketing campaigns and initiatives
