As a Service Advisor, you’ll be the trusted point of contact for our customers, guiding them through their service needs, ensuring clear communication, and helping deliver the highest standard of vehicle care. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and listen attentively to their vehicle concerns
- Accurately document customer issues and vehicle symptoms
- Provide detailed explanations of services and repairs needed
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and timelines for repairs
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles
- Handle customer complaints and questions with professionalism
- Maintain comprehensive records of all service transactions
- Recommend additional services and products when beneficial to the customer
Ideal Candidate Traits:
- Customer-focused with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills
- Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving
- Capable of explaining technical information clearly and concisely
- Sale-savvy, with the ability to recommend additional services and products confidently
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or similar role
- Valid Drivers License required
- General Motors experience preferred
- Reynolds & Reynolds experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using computer systems and service management software
