Location

Location Information:  On-Site if within a 40-mile radius.  Remote opportunity is considered if outside of the Santa Barbara/Ventura areas.

 

 

 

Wage Band

Salary Range: 

Starting salary is between $75k and $95k annually, however, it is ultimately determined by the scope of the position the candidate's relevant experience, credentials/certifications and internal equity. We offer a generous compensation package that includes an attractive benefits package with medical, dental and vision, 401k company match, discretionary profit sharing, PTO, valet parking and more.

 

 

 

Job Summary

The Web Developer Level 1 is a full stack web developer who has excellent skills in front end (HTML/CSS, JavaScript /jQuery/AJAX), Service Side technology (PHP/RoR/ASP.Net/ColdFusion) and Databases (SQL Server).

 

 

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

    • Work with the business users to understand and document the requirements
    • Work with other IT team members to design and document the solution
    • Develop the systems according to the agreed upon design
    • Find opportunities for improvement in the existing systems and help formulate a plan to implement the changes
    • Help resolve the critical production issues

Qualification Standards
Education, Licenses, Work Experience, Etc.

Programming skills in the following languages/technologies:

    • Proficient in UI development with 1- 2 years of experience in HTML5/CSS3, Bootstrap or similar UI development framework.
    • 1-2 years of Web development experience in technologies such as PHP, Ruby, ColdFusion or ASP.Net
    • 1-3 years’ experience required with one of the JavaScript framework/libraries. (jQuery, AngularJS, React, Ember, Knockout etc.)
    • Database experience with SQL Server or MySQL.
      • Be comfortable with writing SQL queries. Should be good with SQL optimization using indexes or other optimization techniques.
    • Any Mobile development experience is a plus

 

Other Qualifications Required:

    • College degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
    • 1 to 5 years’ experience with above requirements

(Jr. 1-3 years, Developer 3-5 years, Sr. 5-10 years)
