Wage Band

Salary Range: 

Starting salary is between $60,000 and $80,000 annually, however, it is ultimately determined by the scope of the position the candidate's relevant experience, credentials/certifications and internal equity. We offer a generous compensation package that includes an attractive benefits package with medical, dental and vision, 401k company match, discretionary profit sharing, PTO, valet parking and more.

 

 

 

Job Summary

Provide extensive support for Investment Department, including assisting in the implementation of the firm’s asset allocation process and strategy, market and economic information gathering and reporting, fund and portfolio analysis and reporting, and the production of periodic written communications.

 

 

 

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Investments:
    • Conduct thorough due diligence on existing and prospective fund investments, including analyzing fund strategy and composition, evaluating performance and key statistics, analyzing the fund category and benchmark, and reviewing prospectuses and other key fund documents, to assist in the decision-making process
    • Participate in meetings with fund portfolio managers and family fund representatives
    • Monitor, update, and analyze economic and market data and charts
    • Complete research and custom reports as needed
    • Assist in the production and review of the department’s written communications, presentations, portfolio reporting, and other regular deliverables
  • Marketing/Sales/Operations:
    • Fulfill ad hoc investment-related requests from other departments
    • Research and prepare responses for rep and client questions and other due diligence requests
    • Maintain investment allocations in internal systems and interface with trading department in trade execution

Qualification Standards
Education, Licenses, Work Experience, Etc.

  • 0-3 years of prior related experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Statistics
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, advanced Excel and Python skills highly preferred
  • Experience with Morningstar, YCharts, and Bloomberg platforms a plus
  • Foundational understanding of financial markets and economic data

 

 

Licenses and/or Certifications Required

FINRA LICENSE - 65

 

 

Additional License and/or Certification Information

FINRA Series 65 License is required or completed within 120 days of hire
