Job Title: Personal Injury Litigation Attorney

The Position: 

A leading Texas PI firm is expanding. Success, demand, and expansion are creating an opportunity for a Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join a top-notch, highly regarded, and growing team in our San Antonio office.  

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Attending trials, arbitrations, depositions, mediations, and other court appearances. 

  • Preparing pleadings and motions, drafting discovery, mediation briefs, and trial briefs. 

  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines while multi-tasking and working in a fast-moving litigation environment is necessary. 

  • Settle and negotiate personal injury cases. 

  • Keep clients fully informed by communicating with clients to understand their legal concerns and needs to help provide them with essential client service. 

  • Accurately value and develop cases. 

  • Document files with notes and records using.  

  • Provide clients with an accurate accounting of their settlements. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and time management is a must. 

  • Be able to work well with legal assistants. 

  • Have ownership and a strong knowledge of a portfolio. 

  • Prosecute cases in a timely manner. 

  • Return client calls.  

  • Remain current on federal and state laws, regulations, and practices affecting firm business. 

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience: 

  • Bilingual in Spanish is required
  • An active Texas Bar License. 

  • Experience in Personal Injury. 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed attorney in any jurisdiction is required. 

Compensation and Benefits: 

  • $110,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience. 

  • Eligibility for performance bonuses based on goal-meeting and success
