ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, SOCIAL MEDIA (REMOTE)

KCSA is looking for a results-driven social media and content marketing expert with 5+ years of experience to help deliver best-in-class organic social media for our B2B clients. The ideal candidate is used to working with multiple clients and is a master at knowing when to do and when to delegate in order to successfully execute competing priorities. They have a deep knowledge of how social media is evolving and changing and are passionate about how it can elevate our clients’ account(s). This person should be able to demonstrate that they can artfully craft compelling content and copy for various audiences and platforms.

Responsibilities will include overseeing and managing daily social initiatives across multiple accounts in the FinTech/Financial Services, Health & Wellness, AdTech, Healthcare and Alternative Therapies spaces. This role will work with a diverse range of clients from venture-backed startup companies to large, multinational publicly traded companies. They will oversee junior staff and be able to and interested in helping them grow their skills and abilities within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of platform strategies, including updating playbooks and best practices tailored to our clients’ unique brand identity, as well as go-to-market launch plans for emerging platforms
  • Oversee content calendars that are in line with our strategy and brand guidelines
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with clients’ POC
  • Own the publishing, moderation, and ongoing engagement on all relevant social platforms with help from
  • Ensure all content is fully optimized across relevant channels via tagging, linking and rapidly implementing any new social media technology
  • Collaborate with the graphic designer to create engaging content, including static and video
  • Supplement content with assets created in Canva
  • Relay community feedback to relevant internal and external stakeholders proactively and in real-time

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in social media management and communications, agency experience preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ years of management experience
  • Expert in the social media landscape with an understanding of editorial planning
  • Proven track record of running successful social media campaigns and fostering communities
  • Solutions first mindset with a willingness to explore and try new tactics
  • Strong writing skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence key stakeholders
  • Self-starter with a hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines
  • Strategic thinker with excellent time and project management skills
  • Experience with the following tools: Monday.com, Canva, and Sprout
  • Experience with publicly traded companies is a plus

The salary range approved for this position is $70K - $90K. Considerations around relevant experience, skill level, functional expertise, certificates and other skills will determine the salary offer.
