Job Summary:

The Development Team Lead will join a growing New York based Salesforce Consulting Partner that thrives on bringing success to our clients. 

The Development Team Lead should have great project management and DevOps skills, technical expertise in current Salesforce and web technologies, as well as supurb documentation and communication skills. You are a highly motivated and organized individual.  You are capable of managing an offshore team while collaborating with the internal onshore team. You are responsible for client success by being the subject matter expert in system development. 

Primary Duties:

• Manage the custom development request, user story, and delivery process.

• Manage the offshore team of developers to deliver high quality code through the development lifecycle.

• Lead daily stand up meetings with offshore development team.

• Collaborate with individual Arkus Delivery Team members with varying technical skill levels to achieve client success on projects involving custom development.

• Understand the needs of stakeholders and convey these to developers.

• Plan out projects and be involved in project management decisions.

• Create and manage full migration and implementation plans that address both tactical and strategic needs of both clients and Arkus.

• Follow best practices and standards to include agile software development practices, design styles, and software deployment.

• Continuous improvement to development operations processes and collaboration between the development team and the Delivery Team at Arkus, including working on ways to automate development and release processes.

• Perform root cause analysis for production errors, investigate and resolve technical issues, and support bug resolution on any client and internal issues related to the Salesforce platform.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

• BS/BA Degree from a nationally recognized university or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

• 3 years of Salesforce Developer experience

• 1 year of experience leading DevOps or similar function in a Salesforce-centric environment

• 1 year of work experience in an agile project management environment

• Salesforce Administration Certification

• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification

• Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification

Preferred Experience:

• Previous management of an offshore development team

• Salesforce Advanced Admin Certification

• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification

• 1 year of experience as a system admin of developer productivity tools (Copado, Gearset, SFDX, bitbucket. etc)

• 1 year experience as a system admin of Project Management software tools (example: Jira,Trello, etc. )

• 1 year of experience reviewing and debugging code for quality assurance

• Bilingual in Spanish

• Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities

• Understanding of Salesforce full stack development environment

Salary Range: 110k - 150k
