The Talent Sourcer will be the first point of contact in a candidate’s hiring journey and will be expected to partner with recruiters and hiring managers and go out and find the best talent in the market to recruit them to iApartments.  This role has a proven track record of recruiting world-class talent from sourcing to closing offers by working closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, build pipelines and coordinate interviews. 




·         Monitor and track open positions/requisition process for exempt and non-exempt

·         Post openings to appropriate Internet sources, use the company’s automated employment system

·         Review resumes and evaluate if they meet the position requirements

·         Support strategic staffing goals to attract, develop and retain a high-quality diverse workforce

·         Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management

·         Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives

·         Partner closely with Engineering and Tech Operations leadership to deeply understand their teams’ hiring needs, making recommendations, and building strategy to hire amazing team members

·         Source and evaluate passive and active candidates using job boards, social media, networking sites, and our website

·         Guide managers through the recruitment process and provide appropriate tools and training when needed

·         Participate in the creation and implementation of recruiting strategy and initiatives

·         Generate diverse pipeline of talent

·         Ensure a best in class candidate experience with transparency, timely follow-up and communication

·         Coordinate interviews; conduct, analyze, and discuss reference checks with hiring managers

·         Assist in gathering feedback via scorecards from interviewers for candidates

·         Be a brand ambassador, getting candidates excited about working for iApartments and ensuring a positive experience to all candidates

·         Other responsibilities as needed




·         Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a high degree of diplomacy, confidentiality, and professionalism

·         Comfortable on the phone, conducting pre-qualifying calls to introduce job opportunities, determine fit and overall interest

·         Passion for new technologies and emerging trends

·         Familiarity sourcing on database and social networking tools and the professional organizational skills to manage multiple initiatives



·         Understanding of how to market jobs and post to relevant channels.

·         Self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and deadlines

·         Ability to interact with various levels of leadership and employees

·         A proactive and collaborative approach; you love working with people and people love working with you





·         2+ years experience in Talent Acquisition/Sourcing in a hyper growth and highly fast-paced environment

·         Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

·         Knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices

·         Experience with Google Sheets – Docs-email-calendar;  DocuSign; Clear Slide;; Slack

·         Proven success in supporting multiple hiring teams and stakeholders

·         Proven strategic source with the ability to close candidates effectively
