JOB SUMMARY / ORGANIZATION IMPACT:

 

Responsibilities will include communicating with Property Management staff on recurring basis, technical support, filed operations, training, quality assurance, managing contractors on the ground, keeping accurate and detailed notes on the installation process and current inventory status for the installations.  Develops and directs the strategic planning to successfully complete multiple projects.   You will play a crucial role in ensuring projects go as smoothly as possible and all contractors are representing the iApartments brand in the highest and best way possible.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

·       Provide coaching and guidance to the team members and subcontractors about every aspect of the project so that the team members can understand their tasks fully and act on them efficiently

·       Lead and manage several projects concurrently, clearly communicating schedules and expectations to teams and ensuring all deadlines are met

·       Develop and maintain install schedules and manage subcontractor performance to ensure timely completion of project within the established deadline.

·       Manage all project documentation, both hard copy and electronic

·       Manage receipt and delivery of project materials

·       Maintain regular correspondence with the client to update project status and provide high level of customer service

·       Implement a Quality Control and Assurance program for all projects

·       Be a point of escalation for any client issues and work with internal teams to resolve them in a timely fashion

·       Train local staff on basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and upkeep of iApartments product/software

·       Ensure compliance with all iApartments SOC, OSHA and safety policies

·       Applying project management and agile knowledge to identify, escalate, and remove team impediments that jeopardize success

·       Influencing project team members to identify and address project issues, including leadership and interdependent teams.

·       Contribute to creating processes with a focus on efficiency

·       Build customer loyalty through exceptional customer service

·       Other duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·       A self-starter and natural leader

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage a varied workload

·       Must be able to work independently and provide multiple solutions to problems

·       Demonstrate strong teamwork qualities as well as possess the ability to lead by example

·       A background in management of residential construction

·       An excellent work ethic and attention to detail

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

 

·       Demonstrated understanding of HVAC systems

·       Technical understanding of how smart home devices work and how to install them

·       Experience managing or leading projects and installations

·       Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
