Position Overview: 

The Search Analyst is an entry level position where account management and media advertising responsibilities will be learned. The Search Analyst will assist the Supervisor to execute campaign objectives day-to-day which include optimizing campaigns, track budget pacing, pull data for reporting, creating insights, and make recommendations based on results. The ideal candidate for this role must be self-motivated, curious, pay close attention to detail, and must exhibit the ability to work with a larger team. The Search Analyst will receive training and resources to achieve competency in subject matter and ultimately be asked to interpret and draw meaningful conclusions from accounts.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Optimize paid search (SEM) campaigns across several industry verticals including B2B, e-commerce, education, and automotive 
  • Learn and navigate search engine platforms to effectively upload campaign production sheets and download data for reporting or ad hoc purposes 
  • Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for campaign optimization and expansion 
  • Manage and report on campaign performance, KPIs, and metrics 
  • Develop keyword lists, monitor campaign pacing/spend delivery, and assist the Supervisor on manipulating and interpreting data 
  • Brainstorm and draft search engine text ads according to campaign objectives 
  • Perform routine account hygiene, adherence to best practices, and execution of day-to-day tasks 
  • Participate and collaborate with media team to understand and integrate on overall cross-channel campaign briefing and objectives 

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelors’ Degree or relevant experience applicable to the marketing, advertising, and communications industry 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience with Excel and Microsoft Office suite 
  • Google Ads Search Certification a plus 
  • Desire to learn, ask questions, and attention to detail 
  • Possess a strong and proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks with flexibility and communicate priorities to Supervisor 
  • A team-first personality with a positive attitude and a flexible, collaborative work style
