Job Description

Account managers help grow and retain a book of business by building strong client relationships, developing account management strategies, coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet clients' needs, and identifying opportunities to grow accounts.

Team’s Mission

  • Focus on Outcomes: Ensure clients achieve desired outcomes & derive value from their BOL investment.

  • Situational Analysis: Understand clients’ stated & unstated needs, goals & challenges

  • Program Stewardship: Proactive guidance, support & resources so customers maximize the benefits of their investment with BOL

  • Efficiency: Create focus to make sure agency resources get deployed productively

  • Profitability: Contribute to the financial health of each engagement in your book of business

Focus Areas:

  • Client Management: Manage client expectations, bringing issues/concerns to the client's attention before they escalate, offering potential solutions & advising of delivery delays

  • Relationship Management: Build strong, trusting relationships with clients & partners by providing end-to-end channel stewardship & operational support (program conception > execution)

  • Growth: Drive organic account growth by prescribing integrated solutions to client growth challenges

  • Operations: 

    • Identify procedural redundancies & propose efficiencies

    • Work with the PMO to ensure operational excellence

About You:

  • Assist in building strong, trusting relationships with clients and partners, providing leadership and support during strategy, concept, and execution.

  • Partners with internal resources to drive additional value and expertise.

  • Continually looks for ways to improve account growth through a clear understanding of clients’ objectives and goals.

  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively 

  • An expert at building credibility and trust while influencing buying decisions.

  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.

  • Effectively presents BOL’s recommendations and point-of-view.

  • Assists and advises the account and financial management in matters relating to account profitability.

  • Fosters a collaborative environment to encourage a respectful exchange of ideas between cross-teams.

  • Perceives obstacles and objections as an opportunity to engage, consult, and deliver value.

Qualifications

  • B2B experience preferred but not required

  • Proven account management or other relevant experience

  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Self-directed with a sense of urgency in solving client issues

  • A solid grasp of digital activation channels & philosophies (paid media, SEO, demand gen, ABM, etc.) 

  • Able to thrive in a results-driven environment

  • Solid organization skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills

  • Understanding of website development, integrated marketing, measurement and analytics, content management and Internet technology

  • ABM Marketing experience preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience

  • 4+ years of marketing experience with an agency background desirable

  • Helpful if you understand Google Apps

Salary Range $80k to $90k
