Part-Time Contractor: Generalist & Administrative Support
$25–35/hour, based on experience
20–40 hours/week, depending on workload
Remote (LA-based)

Summary
We're looking for a versatile, detail-oriented contractor to provide part-time support across a variety of functions within our association, including Operations, Events, Marketing, Content & Education, Community, and Finance. This is a generalist role that requires flexibility, strong organization, and a willingness to jump in wherever needed.

Responsibilities include:

  • Scheduling meetings and coordinating calendars
  • Managing shared email inboxes
  • Processing contracts and facilitating electronic signatures
  • Maintaining spreadsheets and databases
  • Supporting sponsor fulfillment tracking
  • Material and certificate distribution
  • Assisting with content updates and tracking
  • Booking travel and managing logistics
  • Coordinating shipping
  • Cleaning and organizing data
  • Pick up mail and other miscellaneous errands

Ideal candidate will:

  1. Be a curious self-starter who is comfortable working independently
  2. Have strong working knowledge of tools like Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva, and Salesforce (SFDC)
  3. Thrive in a fast-paced, remote team environment with multiple stakeholders across time zones
  4. Enjoy variety in day-to-day work and shifting priorities
  5. Communicate clearly and professionally, with strong attention to detail
  6. Have a reliable source of transportation to run simple errands and meet for in-person meetings, as needed.
