Our Professional Services team has an opening for an Oracle Pre-Sales Consultant General Business.
The Pre-Sales Consultant role is responsible for meeting monthly/quarterly/annual KPI’s & objectives. Our Pre-Sales Consultants will work in tandem with Sales Consultants, Implementation Specialists & Project Management Teams. The Pre-Sales Consultant will add value throughout the sales process in the areas of discovery, design analysis, solution development, in depth product demonstrations and transitioning of implementation services.
Responsibilities:
· Lead and execute sales engagements to help customers fully understand the benefits of Oracle Based Solutions
· Build relationships with customers via phone calls, emails, flyers and social events
· Effectively make calls to qualified and predetermined vertical markets while providing potential clients with Oracle based solutions collaborated with Dalco professional services
· Must have technical acumen for discussions with clients’ service to ensure customer solutions are designed successfully
· Manage and prioritize sales opportunities via Dalco’s CRM
· Clearly articulate the benefits of Oracle based solutions including NetSuite's applications to all levels including Business Managers and "C" Level Executives
· Provide input to cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect’s requests and product enhancements as needed
· Lead detailed discovery analysis
· Maintain, manage and prioritize sales opportunities
· Articulate the client’s business case for digital transformation change
· Collaborate with the Dalco Enterprise account teams (cross-stack – infrastructure, technology & applications) to customize solutions for our clients
Skills Required:
· Must have a technical background including solution architecture, database administration, implementation and delivery of hardware and software
· Ability to make consistent outbound calls to customers
· General knowledge of Oracle engineered systems solutions
· General knowledge of of I.T. market, trends & competitive landscape, including AWS and Azure
· General knowledge of public domain cloud platforms (Oracle, AWS, Azure, Google, etc.)
· General knowledge of architectural approaches including consolidation, cloud computing, virtualization, disaster recovery, information management, big data, java applications, other Oracle and non-Oracle applications
· General knowledge of Oracle database and middleware technology is a plus
· Oracle Certification is a huge plus
· Desire for attaining additional certifications
Qualifications:
· 2 + years in a comparable pre-sales position supporting the sales cycles for ERP or accounting applications for software organizations is preferred
· Experience with financial application package & thorough understanding of accounting principles
· Previous application experience in one or more of the following desired: SAP, Oracle e-Business Suite, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Intacct, Sage, Epicor, Great Plains, AccPac, Best Software-MAS Series, Sales Logix, Siebel
· Solid verbal and written presentation and interpersonal skills
· Proven track record of increasing deal size with managed services, renewals and experience accelerating the buying process
· Successful quota achievement from past sales positions
· BS/MBA or equivalent applicable work experience
