USRowing is a nonprofit organization recognized by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee as the National Governing Body for the sport of rowing in the United States. The organization’s mission is to steward, strengthen, and grow American rowing by championing performance and igniting new passion for the sport.
USRowing selects, trains, and manages the teams that represent the U.S. in international competition. The organization serves a diverse array of constituencies including novice learn-to-rowers, masters rowers, National Team athletes, collegiate rowers, adaptive rowers, and coastal rowers.

Job Summary:
USRowing is seeking a dedicated and experienced coach to join our Para High Performance coaching team. The role is specific to the PR3 squad, which has a long history of podium performances in international competition. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success working with senior, U23, and/or Para crews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Director of Para High Performance to review and invite candidates to the 2025 PR3 Selection Camp.
- Work closely with Director of Para High Performance to implement the training and selection process of the PR3 Mixed 4+ and PR3 Mixed 2x
- Lead the training and preparation of crew(s) for the World Rowing Championships and coach individual crews as assigned.
- Communicate as needed with specialists and other Para High Performance staff to optimize athlete development and team performance.
- Foster a positive team culture that furthers the technical and physical capacities for athletes to achieve international success.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of successful coaching in a leadership role.
- Experience working with successful crews at the Senior, U23, or Para level
- Strong references from coaches and athletes.
- Impeccable safety record
- In-depth knowledge of the sport of rowing
- Ability to work across teams, with various partners, stakeholders, and athletes to achieve success.
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a coaching team.
- USRowing Level 2 coaching certification required
- Commitment to the values and mission of USRowing
Salary Range: $10,000
