Senior Recruiter 

BetterWorks is looking for an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our People team. As a full cycle recruiter you will be instrumental in supporting the organization by acting as a partner and leader in the recruitment of top talent for our organization. You will work with our executive/business leadership, HR and our external recruiting partners to drive recruitment standards and strategies and close top talent. 

Primary responsibilities:

  • Support hiring across all disciplines, with special emphasis on Go-To-Market, Product, and Engineering functions..

  • Build a candidate experience that reflects the values of betterworks and ensure all candidates are treated with respect and care throughout the recruiting cycle.

  • Promote career opportunities at betterworks in an effort to attract candidate pipelines for immediate openings and/or and evergreen, core skill sets.

  • Enthusiastically network, source, and manage candidates through the full recruiting cycle from initial contact, all stages of the interview process to offer acceptance.

  • Develop solid relationships with candidates; at all stages of the recruiting process.

  • Provide excellent client service, including weekly recruitment status updates.

  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics.

  • Serve as a partner to help devise strategies which ensure betterworks is attracting and building quality and diverse talent pipelines.

  • Be responsible for the closing process which requires skills in active listening, negotiation, follow through and creativity.

  • Partner and serve as an adviser to the business with regards to recruiting standards to include sourcing strategy, skills assessment and decision-making.

  • Prioritize recruiting needs and ensure both quality candidate flow and quality produced is positioned to meet business’ immediate and long term needs.

Position Requirements

  • Dynamic Recruiting professional with 5-8 years of cross functional recruiting experience with growth stage start-ups and/or technology companies, with at least 2 of those years focused on technical recruitment.

  • Understanding of legal compliance and related HR laws as it pertains to hiring

  • Strong sourcing skills with a successful track record of implementing creative and effective strategies for sourcing passive candidates.

  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced sourcing techniques using social media, direct recruiting and other advanced recruiting strategies.

  • Experience filling positions in hot talent markets,where only the top talent is accepted.

  • Hands-on highly proficient level of experience with Greenhouse ATS, and Google calendar required.

  • Successful background in scheduling candidates, across multiple timezones and teams.

  • Adaptable and able to lead and navigate through changing business needs.

  • Attention to detail, multi-tasking, and strong follow through required.

  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills are required.
