Purpose and Scope:
We have Full and Part-time Positions available throughout many of our Texas locations.
We have Immediate openings for Certified ARRT x-ray techs. New grads are welcome to apply. National Mobile X-Ray is the premier provider of mobile radiology services throughout TX and many other states as well.
This role is a TRAVEL TECH position and will require you to commute to our desired destination. This could be either driving or flying into the necessary service areas within TX. We will cover all business expenses such as hotel stay, airfare (when needed), vehicle and meals. Our most critical locations are The Rio Grande Valley, San Antonio and Austin.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
X-Ray Technologist must be competent in the following:
- Explaining the procedure to the patient
- Positioning the patient properly
- Positioning Radiation protection devices such as lead shields
- Setting X-Ray equipment at the correct angle and height over the appropriate area of a patient’s body
- Setting Controls on the X-Ray machine to produce X-Rays or radiographs of the appropriate density, detail, and contract.
- Placing exposure board beneath and under the part of the patient’s body to be examined and make the exposure
- Computer literate
- Transmitting images via web based PACs system
- Following Physicians instruction and orders precisely
- Keeping patient records and adjust/maintain equipment
- Ability to travel short and long distances to place of service
Education & Qualifications:
- ARRT registry and TMB license
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Salary based on Experience however the range is $30-$36 per hour
