Position Summary

Business Development Director is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and key personnel within customer companies. Conducting business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their services. Updating the CRM and ensuring Executives, Cyber Security Assessors / Cyber Security Engineers and Client Administrations are aware of changes within client’s environment. The Director of Business Development must complete several tasks to close sales, meet sales quotas and create revenue for the organization. They will develop and drive business development initiatives that align with our current and future cybersecurity services.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Grow deep, value-providing relationships for existing clients while establishing long-term mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
  • Manages between $2-$5 million in revenue.
  • Create and execute strategies to gain account intelligence and develop business with new and existing clients.
  • Provide relevant industry expertise and market intelligence to clients.
  • Present our services and solutions to key decision makers.
  • Manage the client relationship, recognize key client issues, and ensure that client needs, and project objectives are consistently met through weekly/monthly follow-up.
  • Attend networking events, sporting events, lunches, dinners, etc. to build client relationships.
  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, operations, and senior management in a fast-moving, results-oriented environment to customize the “right” offering to our clients.
  • Maintain company credibility, brand value, and trust with prospective clients by presenting the formulation and implementation of sophisticated cable reliability strategies and product offerings.
  • Respond effectively to customer concerns, questions, and objections. 

 

 

Education and/or Experience

  • 10+ years of experience selling IT auditing and security services solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Proven ability to proactively develop client relationships utilizing cold call and outside selling techniques
  • Must be a competitive high achiever and persistent.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
