About our Accounting Team:

Without the strength of our accounting team, we wouldn’t be able to offer the industry-leading service we’re known for. We are seeking a talented Accounting Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment to join our team.

 

The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as an accountant, preferably in a senior role. As a strong communicator and skilled financial analyst, you will make it your mission to streamline our budgeting, payroll, and financial reporting processes. You will produce thorough financial-status reports for senior management to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth.

 

As an Accounting Manager, you will:

  • Manage QuickBooks and accounting entries for all AP/AR transactions.
  • Responsible for preparing and posting daily cash entries.
  • Recap and reconcile various cash based expense accounts.
  • Participate in the monthly review of variance analysis - cost centers reviews.
  • Assist with preparation of schedules and other duties associated with the year-end external audit and collateral audit.
  • Audits and otherwise ensures that all financial transactions are in keeping with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and legal requirements.
  • Prepare all balance sheet account reconciliations including summarizing all activity in the AP and AR accounts. Find the root cause for reconciliation differences and implement corrective action.
  • Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflow
  • Quarterly Sales Commissions, Client Billing, Credit Card and Expense Report processing. 

 

Required experience that drives success in this role:

  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-8  years proven accounting experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software. QuickBooks experience required.
  • Exemplary history of financial project management.
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting.
  • Proven knowledge of GAAP, financial forecasting, and risk analysis.
  • Intermediate to advance MS Office Suite knowledge.
  • Excellent time management, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience in a Professional Services or Consulting organization is a plus.
