Reporting into the Corporate IT, Security and Compliance department, the IT Support Technician will provide remote technical support to AbsenceSoft employees. The IT Support Technician will support compliance with user offboarding, onboarding, and corporate laptop devices.

What You’ll Do 

  • Customer Support: 

    • Provide remote technical support to employees for laptop and software issues.  

    • Educate our employees on best practices and preventive measures to minimize technical and security issues. 

    • Maintain a positive and professional attitude while addressing technical concerns. 

    • Document and track support requests in the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and communication with end-users. 

  • Microsoft 365 & Entra ID Administration: 

    • Manage and maintain user accounts and access. 

    • Administer Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc. 

    • Maintain security policies and compliance measures 

  • User Onboarding and Offboarding: 

    • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure a seamless IT onboarding process. 

    • Set up new employee accounts, configure hardware, ensure all required software and access permissions are granted, and deliver/ship hardware to new employees. 

    • Conduct IT orientation sessions for new employees as needed. 

    • Manage the IT offboarding process, including revoking access, collecting company assets, and ensuring data security. 

  • General IT Duties: 

    • Perform regular maintenance and updates on company laptops and software using Microsoft Intune and Jamf. 

    • Assist in the implementation of new technologies and systems. 

    • Assist with purchasing of hardware and peripheral accessories. 

    • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures. 

    • Collaborate with other IT team members on various projects and initiatives. 

    • Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.  

    • Other duties as assigned. 
       

What Will Set You Up for Success 

  • The ability to navigate ambiguous situations and produce effective outcomes. 

  • Experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration and support. 

  • Experience with user onboarding and offboarding processes.  

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues remotely. 

  • Experience with both Windows and MacOS is a plus. 

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills. 

  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and IT ticketing systems. 

  • Detail-oriented with strong organization and documentation skills.  

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

 
 What To Know Before You Apply 

  • We’re located in beautiful Golden, Colorado.  

  • This position requires the ability to travel to the office for computer setup, onboarding/offboarding, and occasional on-site support. 

  • This position may work remotely (within the Denver Metro Area) when on-site office support is not required. 

  • This is a full-time, salaried position + bonus.

  • The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $85,000.
