We’re looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Director of Product Management – someone that is passionate about driving product strategy while providing leadership and vision to the AbsenceSoft team. You’ll be overseeing a product platform within the organization and involved with scaling revenue and platform user growth. In the role, you’ll have an opportunity to enhance the user experience, driving user engagement and building out the product roadmap.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and management that adopts the core values of AbsenceSoft.
  • Enhance the user experience, driving user engagement and building out the product roadmap.
  • Assess the competitive landscape, new and existing revenue models,and driving the product roadmap.
  • Own the ideation, solution, and awareness phases of the product development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to build, deploy, and market new features and products. 
  • Create and prioritize product requirements for Engineering team. 
  • Own the internal and external communication needs in rolling out new product offerings.
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance team; attract, recruit and retain required team members not currently in place.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within AbsenceSoft. 
  • Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.
  • Assist in maintaining applicable organizational security and compliance controls within your department, role, and subordinate’s roles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What’ll Set You Up for Success

Required Skills:

 

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in product management for technology or SaaS companies required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of management / leadership experience leading a
    Product Management team required.
  • Product Experience managing platforms and solutions that: - Address workflow automation - Contain a business rules engine and compliance focus - Have strong integration capabilities.
  • Operationally minded, data driven approach to product management.
  • Experience operating in a business that has grown quickly where you’ve played in instrumental role in helping create scale and drive the business from sub $50M to $100M.
  • Bachelor's / master’s degree in business or related field
  • Experience assessing the competitive landscape and creating the product vision in a previous role.
  • Ability to effectively translate product vision to enable execution against objectives.
  • Exceptional collaborator. Able to partner with teams across them business.
  • Experience with enterprise product management tools such as AHA and Jira.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proactive project management – problem identification and solution development
  • Ability to gather and interpret relevant data and information; analyze and document customers’ feedback and share with appropriate internal constituents.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including active listening and dissemination abilities.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

  • This is a full-time, salaried position + bonus.

  • The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $205,000.
