AbsenceSoft is looking for a Social Media & Corporate Communications Manager that will help amplify the AbsenceSoft brand through organic social media channels and internally across the business. This role will serve as a critical voice for the company and brand, both externally and internally. The ideal candidate for this newly created role will have a passion for storytelling, increasing audience engagement, and ensuring alignment with the vision of the AbsenceSoft brand and business strategy.

What You’ll Do

Social Media

  • Develop and execute organic social media plans and strategies focused on increasing AbsenceSoft’s awareness and engagement. This includes learning about our market and ICPs and identifying the right social channels to engage with.
  • Create and manage cohesive social media calendar that includes topics such as AbsenceSoft marketing and public relations content, key industry news and events, AbsenceSoft culture and employee highlights, and other relevant content.
  • Ideate, write, and create compelling and shareable content for social media channels.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with content and brand team to leverage existing design assets for social and ensure all content aligns with AbsenceSoft brand.
  • Manage all organic social media campaigns from start to finish.
  • Coordinate internally to incorporate AbsenceSoft voices into our social media plans, including creating a strategy that enables AbsenceSoft employees to help amplify our social media presence.
  • Coordinate with internal marketing team and external PR agency to identify and engage with key industry influencers and accounts.
  • Collaborate with paid advertising agency team as needed on paid social campaigns, analyzing results and sharing findings.
  • Review and analyze social media analytics to better inform future efforts and stay up-to-date with latest social media tactics, trends, and platform changes to optimize future effforts.


Corporate/Internal Communications

  • Develop and implement internal communications strategies that engage, inspire and connect teammates across the organization with the AbsenceSoft Vision, Mission and strategic priorities.
  • Build and proactively manage a calendar of internal communications events, coordinating with internal People Operations team as needed to execute.
  • Identify ongoing corporate communications needs and build future roadmap.
  • Work closely with external public relations team to ensure deliverables are met and that their plans are informed by our social and corporate communications strategies.
  • Serve as primary owner and point of contact for internal SharePoint site, coordinating across the business to execute on planned efforts.
  • Establish regular company-wide communication cadence for the Executive Leadership Team; driving development of executive communications, including contributed content and presentations as needed.
  • Write and create internal communication messages as needed.
  • Collaborate with Content and Brand team to ensure internal communications messages are consistent throughout the organization and align with external communications.
  • Optimize and manage internal communication channels (plan, edit, and write content as needed).
  • Develop systems and approaches for measuring performance of communications programs and bringing visibility across the organization to the work.
  • Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What’ll Set You Up for Success

Required Skills:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing social media for brands or organizations, ideally working within a collaborative marketing team.
  • Demonstrated success in building and implementing social media content and plans that engage, educate, and deliver results against pre-defined measurement criteria.
  • Strong writing skills with a knack for short, engaging copy.
  • Experience with internal communication plans and strategies.
  • Deep understanding of social media platforms and analytics.
  • Strong program and project management skills and the ability to execute cross-functionally on multiple projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, organizational, and presentation/training skills 
  • Ability to work individually and remotely and to collaborate within a team environment to achieve your goals. 
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
