As part of AbsenceSoft product team, you will collaborate with a team of engineers, designers, and data scientists to redefine and shape the heart of our product experience. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. You should be comfortable with conducting user interviews and finding common themes to drive a prioritized roadmap that balances solving current issues and building for the future. In turn you will be responsible for driving that roadmap with your development team and ensuring that team understands not only “the what” but also “the why” of what they are building. What You’ll Do

  • Drive forward leave management initiatives with a passion and enthusiasm

  • Serve as the voice of the user in conversations with design, tech, and business partners​

  • Lead discussions with customers and users on feature vision

  • Identify, prioritize, and execute against both the backlog and roadmap using a data driven approach​

  • Ensure the team is focused on building the right feature for the right user at the right time

  • Operate effectively and independently

  • Proven record of end-to-end product delivery

  • Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition

  • Identify new areas for product feature development by analyzing customer requirements, market trends and competitive gaps


 What’ll Set You Up for Success

Required Skills:

  • Experience in leave management, FMLA and ADA experience a plus

  • 5+ years experience in Product Management working directly with development teams

  • History of successful management of cross-functional projects

  • Experience writing user stories, doing user research, decomposing technical projects​

  • Superior communication skills verbally and in writing are a must-have, including being comfortable presenting to new and existing customers

  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities​

  • Exceptional self-awareness and influencing skills

  • Relationship building skills with internal/external customers

  • Knowledge of API/REST fundamentals
