The Director, Product is responsible for leading the strategic direction, roadmap, and execution of product initiatives within AbsenceSoft’s suite of leave management solutions. This leadership role manages a team of product managers and collaborates cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership to ensure the delivery of innovative, user-centric, and market-competitive products. The Director plays a pivotal role in scaling product capabilities, driving business growth, and maintaining the company’s reputation as a leader in leave management software.

What You’ll Do
- Define and execute the product vision and strategy in alignment with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and a designer.
- Prioritize product initiatives using data-driven decision-making and customer insights.
- Partner with engineering, product operations, and architecture leaders to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
- Drive go-to-market readiness in collaboration with marketing, sales, professional services, and customer success.
- Monitor product performance and customer satisfaction, implementing improvements as needed.
- Develop robust clear KPIs and metrics for success and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Represent the voice of the customer across all product lifecycle stages.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
- Maintain product backlogs and ensure agile product development processes are followed.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to support strategic planning and product investments.
- Ensure product compliance with legal, regulatory, and security standards.
- Champion innovation and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the product team.
- Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.
- Assist in maintaining applicable organizational security and compliance controls within your department, role, and subordinate’s roles.

What’ll Set You Up for Success
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success managing product teams and launching complex software products.
Preferred Skills:
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Experience in B2B SaaS and/or HRTech strongly preferred.

- The salary range for this position is $170k - $210k.
