What You’ll Do
- Define and execute AbsenceSoft’s overarching AI and data strategy in alignment with corporate goals.
- Pioritize AI use cases such as predictive leave forecasting, and automated policy interpretation.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning solutions.
- Establish data governance frameworks to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulations.
- Champion ethical AI practices and drive transparency in AI model development and usage.
- Drive innovation by identifying and incubating high-impact AI opportunities across the business.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other departments to integrate AI capabilities into products and ROI storytelling.
- Manage partnerships with model providers, data marketplaces, and academic collaborators.
- Manage analytics functions to provide actionable insights for performance optimization and strategic planning.
- Build and lead a high-performing team of data scientists, data engineers, and AI researchers.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements to inform the AI and data roadmap.
- Represent the organization in external forums, partnerships, and regulatory discussions regarding AI and data policy.
- Establish key performance indicators and reporting mechanisms to measure AI and data impact on business outcomes.
- Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.
- Assist in maintaining applicable organizational security and compliance controls within your department, role, and subordinate’s roles.

What’ll Set You Up for Success
Required Skills:
- 10+ years in AI/ML leadership roles within fast growing SaaS or enterprise software environments.
- Hands on expertise in ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), LLM fine-tuning, and MLOps tools.
- Demonstrated ability to quantify AI’s impact on revenue, gross margin, and retention.
- Experience with regulatory and privacy standards relevant to HCM and healthcare data.
- Strong communicator and influencer with cross-functional leadership skills.
- Proven track record in AI enablement programs across both technical and business teams.

- The salary range for this position is $270,740 - $385,000.
