AbsenceSoft is seeking a highly skilled, advanced Salesforce Administrator to play a key part in the technical architecture and day-to-day administration of our Salesforce environment as an integral member of our RevOps team. In this critical role, you’ll ensure system reliability, scalability, and integration with key business tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Salesforce configuration, solution design, troubleshooting, and flow automation. Deep expertise in Salesforce CPQ is a key requirement for this role. Experience with CLM platforms (such as Ironclad or similar) and other GTM tools is a plus. This position will manage large projects, system enhancements, integrations, and troubleshooting, while partnering with stakeholders across the organization to ensure seamless system connectivity and data flow. 

 

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will also serve as the primary escalation point for complex technical support requests and will be instrumental in driving Salesforce and CPQ excellence across the organization.

What You’ll Do

 

Advanced Salesforce Administration 

  • Provide advanced Salesforce administration (automation, flows, security, configuration, troubleshooting) and partner with the admin team to deliver solutions, leveraging collective expertise to optimize platform performance and user experience 
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and primary owner of Salesforce CPQ, including end-to-end administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of product configuration, pricing rules, approvals, quote templates, and related processes.  
  • Lead and execute complex CPQ projects, such as designing and managing product bundles, pricing conditions, discounting logic, and approval workflows to support sales operations and revenue growth. 
  • Manage user roles, profiles, permission sets, and security settings to maintain robust data security and system integrity. 
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address technical issues, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement. 
  • Collaborate with the broader admin team to coordinate sandbox previews, deployment planning, and release management for new Salesforce features and releases. 
  • Apex development experience is preferred to support advanced automation, custom solutions, and troubleshooting as needed. 

 

Integrations & Technical Support 

  • Work closely with the broader admin team to manage and support integrations with Ironclad, and additional third-party systems (e.g., ZoomInfo, Outreach, Outlook, Gong), ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow across the organization. 
  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for Salesforce, CPQ, and related integrations. 

 

Data Cleanliness & Governance 

  • Implement and maintain data quality best practices to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable Salesforce and CPQ data. 
  • Support data governance initiatives by helping define and enforce standards, validation rules, and data stewardship practices across the organization. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and the broader admin team to promote data ownership and accountability, supporting ongoing data audits and compliance monitoring 

 

  • Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What’ll Set You Up for Success

Required Skills:

 

  • Advanced Salesforce Administrator certification (or equivalent experience); 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration.  
    • Experience with Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud 
  • 2+ years of Salesforce CPQ administration (product configuration, pricing rules, approvals, quote templates, discount strategy).  
    • CPQ Specialist Certification preferred 
  • Experience with integrations (CLM platforms like Ironclad a plus, along with a familiarity with other GTM tools).  
  • Strong technical aptitude: Apex experience preferred. 
  • Commitment to data quality and data governance best practices.  
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills, with a proactive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of work within a results-driven team.
