The Business Analyst position will collaborate with internal teams, working cross functionally to ensure a seamless, timely and positive software implementation experience for our new and existing customers. The BA is a customer facing position that provides technical support and subject matter expertise, gathering requirements from customers, aligning and effectively communicating appropriate timelines and project updates across teams. What You’ll Do

  • Perform configuration of AbsenceSoft software with oversight from Project manager or business analyst II.
  • Work closely with customers to support the implementation of AbsenceSoft software, including discovery, solution documentation, configuration, unit and user acceptance testing, system training, and post go-live activities.
  • Work on multiple implementations at one time. This will include SMB, Large-Market, and Enterprise clients.
  • Work closely with the project manager, integration resources, and other cross functional team members to deliver on implementation projects for both new and existing client initiatives.
  • Assist in user acceptance testing and remediation sessions
  • Assist in system training sessions remotely or onsite with clients
  • Actively engage with customers to advise them on best practices for implementing the AbsenceSoft software
  • Serve as a subject matter expert with the AbsenceSoft software, configurations, and capabilities and use your knowledge to set up and configure our clients’
  • Participate in a highly compliant environment while assiting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

What’ll Set You Up for Success

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 year working experience as a business analyst or in a technology business with hands on experience with a Saas system.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers. Must be able to actively present material to all tyles of audiences and serve in a consultative manner.
  • Ability to learn and become an expert in a new system
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to ‘roll-up your sleeves’ to help get the job done
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Management Information Systems or equivalent preferred
  • Be willing to travel
    • Travel is generally limited and many meetings with customers are virtual – but travel can be up to 15-25%
    • Our implementation projects typically require travel at key milestones such as User Acceptance Testing, Project Go-Live, etc.
