We are looking for an ambitious, organized and detail-oriented Project Lead to facilitate and execute the rollout of product feature changes into our customer base, as well as help define and document configuration best practices for the AbsenceSoft Platform. The Project Lead is a customer-facing position that will collaborate with internal teams (Product/Support/Customer Success), working cross functionally to ensure seamless, timely and positive platform experience for our new and existing customers. What You’ll Do
- Become a subject matter expert with the AbsenceSoft software, configurations and capabilities, and use this knowledge to create and execute plans to configure our customer’s environment(s).
- Work closely with the AbsenceSoft Product, Compliance, Support and Customer Success teams to deliver on change management projects for both new and existing customer initiatives.
- Work closely with a team of Platform Experience Analysts to:
- Understand and plan for upcoming product changes
- Outline clear and concise policy and compliance details and potential customer considerations
- Build and manage plans for determining impact and rollout activities
- Facilitate the rollout of chartered product feature changes into the customer base
- Proactively provide project updates and risk mitigation plans to project stakeholders
- Ensure all project deliverables are of the highest quality to promote customer satisfaction, meet contractual requirements and provide a positive platform experience
- Manage and monitor product defect workarounds and drive product change to eliminate
- Act as a resource for Operations teams for questions on best practices and customer questions
- Build and maintain Best Practice documentation for product implementations
- Build and manage a process to maintain key procedures for configuration changes
- Collaborate with Marketing to build and execute customer communications
- Manage multiple project plans at a time and communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a clear, concise and professional manner
- Effectively engage with customers involved in relevant projects, acting in a consultative manner with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Represent us in a professional manner and demonstrate respect for and responsiveness to our customers and colleagues.
- Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role

What’ll Set You Up for Success
Required Skills:
- 4-5+ years’ work experience as a project manager in a technology business with hands on experience with a SaaS system
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills. Able to interact and present via remote technology or in person to all types of audiences with varying technical levels.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers in a concise and professional manner. Must show effectiveness in acting in a consultative manner.
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Motivated, proactive, service-oriented and has the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Ability to ‘roll-up your sleeves’ to help get the job done
- Ability to work closely and organize team members cross-departmentally to deliver projects (meeting project objectives and delivering high quality)
- Undergraduate degree in Business, Management Information Systems or equivalent preferred
- Be willing to travel
- Travel is generally limited and many meetings with customers are virtual – but travel can be up to 15-25%
Nice to Have:
- High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
- Experience working with the AbsenceSoft platform
- Work experience in a Change Management role within a SaaS system
- Work Experience in a Product role within a SaaS system
