This role serves as a business leader and front-line manager that, in partnership with our Sales team, serves to drive revenue through product value and team development. This position will support the end-to-end pre-sales consulting strategy to help drive revenue growth, content and validated designs.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Lead and develop a team of highly motivated Solution Consultants.
  • Lead, define and help execute AbsenceSoft’s Solution Consulting strategy in conjunction with cross departmental peers, sales leaders and business units, successfully executing current capabilities that exist today, but helping to drive towards the future.
  • Be passionate throughout AbsenceSoft and the market to support the sales cycle of our prospects by providing exceptional sales and technical consultation.
  • Active leader in deals as guided by sales leadership. Able to understand and speak to both key product, technical, and operational aspects of the AbsenceSoft selling motion.
  • Own the Deal Desk process for sales team driving collaboration between Product, Operations and Marketing to solution opportunities as needed.
  • Accountable for helping Sales and other department leaders, drive market penetration through individual participation in deals, and the development of the Solution Consulting team.
  • Contribute to validating specific needs and designs with AbsenceSoft’s product team.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product and Marketing leaders to help build new or reposition current product portfolio.
  • This is a highly cross functional role – requiring close collaboration with other groups and product business units.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to ensure both internal and outbound content is pertinent, timely, appropriately targeted through relevant marketing channels/organization.
  • Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.
  • Assist in maintaining applicable organizational security and compliance controls within your department, role, and subordinate’s roles.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What’ll Set You Up for Success

Required Skills:

 

  • 5+ years proven experience leading a consulting, engineering, or presales team
  • 5+ years proven experience in ecosystem and industry leadership.
  • Experience in HRTech, Compliance, or Legal software a plus.
  • Undergraduate degree in Technology, Marketing, Business, Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Demonstrates exceptional leadership skills with the ability to create and drive vision across the sales team and organization as needed
  • Proven leadership in a software organization
  • Track record of converting ideas to impact.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills; proven ability to work with a diverse team and influence and drive change across functional and business boundaries in a face- paced environment.
  • Deep experience in creating & optimizing partner sales organizations, processes, and strategy and can be a trusted advisor to sales leadership.
  • The ability to operate effectively in a rapidly scaling, dynamic environment, be able to manage multiple stakeholders and groups simultaneously and have strong communications skills.
  • Possesses highest level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Comfort in ambiguous environments
  • Excellent and proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects with competing priorities.
  • Strong communication, executive presence, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to engage and influence individuals at all levels.
