The Financial Analyst will play a key role in the reporting, forecasting, and accounting for Absencesoft. This role will report to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and be in the unique position to provide insights that drive growth and operational efficiency. We are looking for a detail-oriented financial analyst who is willing to take on new projects and learn new skills along the way.

What You’ll Do
- Lead reporting of key performance indicators (KPIs), including ARR, sales, and operational metrics
- Provide insight into revenue, spending variances, and department-level reporting to business partners
- Analyze and summarize financial data for management and executive reviews
- Assist in the annual planning and budgeting process
- Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support decision making and operational transformation
- Be a key resource on internal projects, working cross functionally to provide modeling and financial expertise
- Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.
- Other duties as assigned.
What’ll Set You Up for Success
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in an accounting, finance, or business role
Preferred Skills And Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and the three financial statements
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience e in a fast-paced technology related company
- Familiarity with reporting, visiaulization, planning, and analysis tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Experience presenting analytical results in both verbal and written form
- Ability to contextualize unstructured and complex analytical problems to various departments
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (Netsuite preferred)
