The Group Product Manager will focus on our company’s flagship product and largest revenue generator - will oversee the build of features and enhancements as AbsenceSoft continues to build the moat and transform the leave and accommodations industry. This person will empower a small group of product managers to deliver and execute our product strategy.
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Product, you will be expected to understand our customers, competitors, and the market to effectively deliver and fulfill our mission in the leave and accommodations industry. This role will also work closely with the Product Operations organization to focus on taking a flagship product and operationalizing it for scale while mentoring a small product team.
-This position will be a player /coach where you are expected to roll up your sleeves and demonstrate sound product management while leading a small team of product managers
-The product team is responsible for the ideation and development of product across the company with the opportunity to make an incredible impact

What You’ll Do
- Lead product execution for our flagship product, and core business teams
- Provide leadership, mentorship, hiring, and guidance to the team members to ensure innovation, creativity, accountability, and execution toward our product strategy
- Act as a liaison between teams to ensure clear communication, coordination, and accountability through the product development lifecycle
- Be obsessed with measurement and continuous improvement for both business and customer value delivered, and develop KPIs, monitor progress continuously and report up and out milestones and deliverables.
- Drive and reinforce the product strategy in PMs leading the product development
- Develop a rich understanding of but maintain a curiosity to learn and ability to problem-solve in the complex problem space we operate from
- Understand and translate the product vision throughout the company
- Participate in a highly compliant environment while assisting to maintain company controls and security within your job role.

What’ll Set You Up for Success
Required Skills:
- A minimum of 7+ years of product management experience with at least 3 years in product people management required
- Experience building products in the leave, absence, accommodations, or HRIS ecosystem strongly preferred
- Experience in organizational leadership, including experience working with and influencing teams and executive leads
- A strong track record of problem solving and a “roll up your sleeves” mentality
- Startup / high growth startup experience a strong plus

- The salary range for this position is $170k - $210k.
