Position Summary
Laboratories Théa originates in France as an independent eye care group with a global reach. Led by the Chibret family for more than five generations, Théa products are sold and marketed by more than 1,000 employees in over 70 countries. We serve the complex needs of eye care professionals through our broad product offering of prescription and over the counter medicines and are a leader in preservative-free drop delivery because we believe that everyone should have the same opportunity to see the world through healthy eyes.
Laboratoires Théa has recently joined forces with Similasan. Based in Switzerland, Similasan specializes in eye drops with natural active ingredients, further expanding the footprint of Théa in Europe and the US. An estimated 36 million patients in the US report having symptoms of dry eye disease (DED) and approximately 17 million patients have been diagnosed. Though DED is one of the most common reasons a patient visits an eye care professional (ECP), under 2 million patients are treated with a prescription medication. As the quality of life of millions of patients is negatively impacted by the signs and symptoms of DED, a significant unmet need exists.
