Internship: HR & Administrative Coordinator Intern

 

Duration: May–August preferred (July to September will be considered)

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Coordinator Intern to support our HR team with administrative tasks, employee data audits, recruiting, onboarding and offboarding coordination. This role is ideal for someone interested in gaining hands-on HR experience. This role reports to the Senior HR Generalist and will also work under the guidance of the Director of HR for additional training and tasks.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Audit employee records in the HRIS to ensure job descriptions, resumes, and offer letters are current and properly uploaded
  • Maintain accurate employee data, org chart, and census information
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate calendars with candidates and hiring managers
  • Assist with completion and submission of HR/employee forms and documentation
  • Support onboarding activities, including preparing materials and ordering business cards
  • Assist with general HR administrative tasks, reporting, and events
  • Provide front desk/reception support as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently a senior student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail, project management, and organization skills
  • Can handle confidential information responsibly
  • Good communication and time management skills

 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position requires prolonged sitting. Additionally, it requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity enough to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and vision to record, prepare, and communicate appropriately. Additional physical requirements include hearing spoken communication clearly.

  • This compensation hourly rate range is $20 to $25 per hour, biweekly pay
