Job Description:
OPAV is seeking a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude. This person must also be a multitasker who is adaptive to a fast-paced industry. Candidates should be open to a flexible work structure as they will be utilized on the road as well as assist the warehouse team where needed. The main duties of the Driver/General Labor are local Central Florida deliveries and pickups and assisting as general labor in the warehouse. This technician role will primarily support the Event Services Manager in executing special events, with a focus on warehouse operations and on-site event support, along with additional operational responsibilities as needed. This position will report directly to the Event Services Manager, but may also take direction from the warehouse manager and Director of Operations as needed.
Responsibilities:
The Warehouse Technician / Driver is responsible for the below responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to:

Drive and deliver inventory for local shows/events

Showcase outstanding customer service during deliveries

Coordinate deliveries and pickups with the Warehouse Manager and Events Service Manager

Show great time-management skills

Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.

Follows policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations

Assist where necessary in the warehouse with pulling, moving, and restocking

Additional duties and responsibilities as needed for support of operations
Required Skills/Abilities:
-
Florida Drivers License
-
Clean Driving Record
-
CDL preferred but not required
-
Experience operating box trucks and/or vehicles with air brakes required

Knowledge of Central Florida area
-
Must be able to work in the United States

Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
-
Forklift certification or similar warehouse credentials a plus but not mandatory
Qualifications
-
Overall Experience in the Live Production environment, including but not limited to logistics in a multi-location setting.

Extensive and diversified background with at least 5 years of related experience.
Compensation:
$18.00 - $24.00 hourly, based on experience and scope
