Job Description:  

This position will serve as the primary Sales person under our  Director of Audiovisual Services, DAVS,  at our World Equestrian Center office location in Ocala, FL.  Their primary focus will be to grow overall AV revenue and profit, while achieving customer satisfaction from pre-production through post-event phases of service. Work closely with the venue Sales Team through a proactive account management approach that incorporates consultative selling skills. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key personnel and clients to enhance the overall business relationships.

 

  • Customer Service Reviews from Hotel Staff & Guests

  • Timely and Proactive Communications with Hotels Sales Team, Clients and OPAV Management.

  • Increased Sales revenues working closely with DAVS to focus on new and creative ideas for clients.

  • Increased Profitability as a result of more efficient forecasting for future sales and opportunities.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Property Coverage and Service when DAVS is not on-site

  • Assisting DAVS with review of hotel booking system and calling on confirmed events to sell Event Technology Solutions.

  • Set/Operation/Strike of Event Technology as required.

  • Participate in internal meetings with hotel staff and executives to discuss the execution of events.

  • Participate in Site Visits and Planning discussions to assist the hotel Sales and Event staff with Technology Solutions.

  • Communicate with OPAV Warehouse for supplemental Equipment needs and Labor Support.

  • Assisting DAVS with Generation of Estimates, Invoices, and Schedules as appropriate to manage our operations at the property.

  • Creative approach to “Hotel AV” to ensure that we are offering unique technology solutions and production designs that can be executed seamlessly and profitably.

 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Ability to lift 50lbs consistently

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time working at a computer.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Products as well as G-Suite a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Relationship focused and results oriented

 

Compensation: 

*$50,000 - $60,000.00 / Year (pending previous Experience*)

Primarily  Monday thru Friday

Weekends & Evenings as Needed
