The Role:
The IT Infrastructure architect will handle the architecture and design of a global cloud native platform built on azure technologies. The architect will serve as a lead on large scale projects, including solutioning and documentation of infrastructure architecture and will partner with other architects in the organization to mentor and help dev leads, scrum teams and other cross functional teams during the life cycle of the platform.
What you’ll do:
Design and implement highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure on Azure using industry best practices.
Design and implement continuous integration and delivery processes and tooling.
Design and implement monitoring stack on Kubernetes.
Manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated deployment of infrastructure and application platforms.
Design and implement zero trust infrastructure on Azure.
Develop SOPs and runbooks to ensure that the team members have the needed skills and tools to support production systems.
Manage provisioning of environments in the SDLC and associated costing
Act as a subject matter expert on DevOps best practices with Infrastructure as Code, Infrastructure Automation, Application Scalability.
What you’ll need:
Degree: BS, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 7+ years of experience either from application development background or from infra management background.
Expertise in site reliability best practices and implementing site reliability dashboards with SLI/SLO/SLA.
Experience in working with Enterprise Security and implementing best practices.
Expertise in managing web-based systems with HA/DR deployments across the globe.
Experience provisioning and managing Storage accounts, Event hubs, Azure API management, Key vault, private links, Azure App config, Redis, Azure search service, etc.
Experience with IAM policies and IDP.
Experience with CDN/WAF such as Cloudflare, Azure front door.
Experience with Azure landing zone implementation.
Experience with SQL database systems.
Bonus points for:
Experience working with start-up organizations
Financial technology and payments processing industry
Certified Microsoft Azure Certified – specifically AZ303 and AZ304.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer.
