We provide an online community-of-care that connects, coordinates and tracks all those who are involved in the correctional and rehabilitative life cycle, including those with the most at stake (the justice involved youth or adult, him/herself). Our technology seeks to empower all involved to assess, assign and encourage completion of treatment plans that will improve success in the community. We enjoy knowing our software at the end of the day is being used to help people.

 

Overview

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for the marketing needs across multiple disciplines. This position is responsible for solving problems when it comes to design aesthetic for presentations and collateral assets. The Graphic designer will design and execute collateral materials, presentations, event graphics and other design activities. They will help teams guide projects to success, helping others grow their careers and contributing to company/department initiatives. 

This is a full-time, salaried position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, matching 401k and a wellness benefit.  This is a hybrid role located in Salt Lake City, UT.  While this role may work primarily from home, candidates can expect to gather in Salt Lake City for collaborative work on a regular basis.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Ideating and executing design solutions for the brands, products, and marketing materials (ideally across a range of media including digital, motion, identity, and print).
  • Work closely with the Director of Product and the sales team to plan and implement key initiatives and projects.
  • Collaborating with the team by participating in design critiques, receiving constructive criticism that advocates for both the brand identity and key audiences.
  • Confident working with the sales and marketing team, translating needs, and problems into effective materials.
  • Ability to balance short- and long-term priorities.
  • Ability to influence, build trust and relationships with other Designers, Writers,
    and Sales Staff
  • Comfortable working in a high impact, high energy, fast-paced environment where data and experimentation drives success.
  • Building and maintaining style guides and pattern libraries to ensure brand cohesion and consistency within each product.
  • Presenting concepts and iterating based on stakeholder feedback and requirements.
  • Working with team members and stakeholders to define timelines and manage expectations for ongoing projects.
  • Building toward strategic goals by helping define and track KPIs.
  • Conducting user research to gauge performance and recommend ongoing incremental improvements.
  • Provide consultancy on best use of design to ensure that business objectives, budgets, and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain quality control and responsibility for the integrity of the final product.
  • Manage all phases of the design process including concepting, mockup production, copy creation, review and integration, and finished product.
  • Work within established design guidelines and best practices.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously and may perform cross over support
    to other departments.
  • Complete corporate training on a timely basis
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or an advanced creative degree in Fine Art/Graphic Design or applicable field is required.
  • 3+ years of graphic design experience designing UI/UX, web sites, and a variety of marketing materials.
  • Corporate Video experience a plus.
  • Proficient with the following software tools: Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Positive, proactive, organized, very detail-oriented and able to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical departments.
  • Ability to effectively handle critiques.
  • Strong presentation and consulting skills
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
